Her career was threatened just as it got started, but Lilly Goodman learned to stand her ground.
Originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Lilly is hailed as one of the most talented new hispanic voices in music. Her talent was evident since childhood and she admits that in her family, “music was a way of life,” even though she wanted nothing to do with it. She was encouraged by family to pursue music, but fear and doubt often took over during those early years as she felt she would not last even a year in the spotlight. Life as a singer and public figure was not always easy. She learned who she could and could not trust, and worked through serious obstacles that threatened to end her career.
