The ball struck teammate Kelsey Osburn in the back of the head. Without his helmet on, he crumbled to the ground. Josh Canales raced over as his friend quickly slipped into unconsciousness. Three hours of emergency surgery later, the doctor confirmed that Kelsey would never again open his eyes. What would Josh tell his friend’s parents?
