Duché Bradley grew up without a father, so when he found himself a father, he vowed to never leave his son. But when his lifestyle of drug dealing caught up with him, he instead faced decades of prison and a broken promise.
After conducting numerous high-dollar drug deals, it was a actually a routine traffic stop while carrying pounds of cocaine that landed Duché in prison. In prison a fellow inmate reached out and introduced Duché to his Jesus, forever filling the anger and loneliness his fatherlessness had created. Duché further learned grace when the District Attorney miraculously changed his sentencing and he ended up only spending less than three years in prison.
Duché says the eight simple words, “You look burdened, can I pray for you?” changed his life and today he uses that same simple phrase to help others in crisis. His true passion is sharing how his life has gone from pain and prison to living with purpose.
He regularly speaks in schools, universities and prisons throughout the United States, inspiring and coaching men, women and youth to focus, excel and succeed even during the most difficult times.
Following a stint as a professional bodyguard and personal driver for stars such as Jenifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Sean “Diddy” Combs, Duché now travels the country speaking through his ministries, XTREME Life, which takes a message of change to people and cultures with extreme consequences, and 220 Life, which promotes character development education in universities, colleges, high schools and middle schools. In addition to I am Second, he speaks nationally with Bill Glass Champions for LIFE, Gideon International and Compassion International.
